Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan New Jersey is seeking a proactive Systems Administrator to manage and optimize our IT infrastructure, with a focus on automation, cloud services, and reliable operations across environments.

You will administer Office 365, Azure, SharePoint, Active Directory, and security tooling, support users, coordinate with MSPs, and implement policies to keep systems secure and available.

Qualifications

• MS Certifications (CCNA/CCNP/CompTIA A+ preferable)
• At least 2 years as Systems Administrator
• Experience with VMware/ESXi/VCenter
• Experience with Azure, Office 365, MS Exchange, MS Server
• Knowledge of WAN/LAN and various servers (mail, file)
• Experience designing and managing Active Directory
• PowerShell scripting is a plus
• Strong communication and ability to work with limited supervision

Responsibilities

• Acts as a technical backup to the Information Systems & Cybersecurity Program Manager.
• Provides user support, investigate and troubleshoot.
• Performs account setup and system upgrades following new releases.
• Maintains an inventory of hardware and software and lifecycle policy adherence.
• Configures and manages company Intranet via SharePoint.
• Manages Security applications such as Office 365 Administration, Microsoft SharePoint.
• Management of Firewall policies with MSP and MSSP collaboration.
• Endpoint Protection & Application Patching.
• OKTA Identity Management System.
• Supervises IT projects and participants.
• Participates in Network & Telecommunication Management through MSP.
• Participates in QA activities and meets QA deadlines.
