Job summary

Amentum is seeking a System Administrator 1 to provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution. Responsibilities include UNIX/Windows OS management and supporting agency management with status updates.

Required are TS/SCI Poly clearance, DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II, and a bachelor’s degree or 12 years of related experience. Minimum five years SA experience in similar programs is expected.

Qualifications

• Needs a good understand of Windows and Linux as an end user.

Responsibilities

• Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Manages IT system infrastructure and related processes; supports day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
• Provides support for escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
• Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and participates in resolution.
• Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads OS software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components.
