Job summary

Capital-Solutions-Group in Fort Meade, Maryland is seeking a Systems Administrator to support IT systems, troubleshoot, maintain infrastructure across Linux, Unix, and Windows operating environments, and ensure reliable network services for client/server/storage devices.

Required security clearance TS/SCI with polygraphs, DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, and 3+ years of SA experience or a bachelor’s degree with relevant background.

Qualifications

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
• Provide Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
• Provide support for day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices
• Provide escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
• Provide Tier 1 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution
• Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems
• Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 escalation support
• Support for the escalation and communication of status to management
