Mission Driven Research seeks a Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to support the Missile Defense Agency program office. You will apply systems engineering within a digital engineering framework to build and maintain architecture models, tracing requirements and supporting major milestone reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 7+ years of DoD program experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Proficient in SysML and MBSE frameworks (DoDAF/UAF).
• Experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo/MagicDraw/Sparx EA.
• Ability to distill complex architectures into diagrams and briefings.

Responsibilities

• System Modeling & Architecture: create and maintain SysML models for behaviors, structure, interfaces, and requirements.
• Requirements Traceability: map requirements to artifacts with end-to-end traceability.
• Digital Engineering Integration: link MBSE models with simulations and data repositories.
• Technical Baseline Reviews: prepare model-centric artifacts for SRR, PDR, CDR and CCBs.
• Interface & Trade Studies: perform architectural trade studies and model interfaces.
• Configuration & Data Management: maintain version control for SysML models.
