Job summary

Mission Driven Research, Inc. seeks a Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to support the Missile Defense Agency program office.

You will apply systems engineering within a digital framework to create, analyze, and maintain system architecture models for government leads, prime contractors, and cross-functional teams. You will trace requirements, model behaviors and structures, and support baseline reviews using SysML and MBSE tools in a DoD environment.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years supporting missile defense or large DoD programs.
• Proficient in SysML and MBSE.
• Experience with MBSE tools: Cameo, MagicDraw, Sparx.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain descriptive system models using SysML to capture behaviors, structure, interfaces, and requirements across MDA programs.
• Map requirements to architecture artifacts with end-to-end traceability and verification matrices.
• Support Digital Engineering by linking MBSE models with simulations and data repositories.
• Prepare and present model-centric artifacts for major milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, CCBs).
• Conduct architectural trade studies and model interfaces to resolve integration risks.
• Maintain version control and configuration baseline compliance for SysML models.
