Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years supporting missile defense or large-scale DoD programs.
• Proficiency with SysML and core systems engineering frameworks (DoDAF, UAF).
• Hands-on experience using MBSE modeling tools (Cameo, MagicDraw, Sparx).
• Ability to distill complex system architectures into clear diagrams, docs, and briefings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain descriptive system models using SysML to capture system behavior, structure, interfaces, and requirements across MDA programs.
• Map system-level and component-level requirements to architecture artifacts with end-to-end traceability and verification matrices.
• Support MBSE initiatives by linking models with external tools, simulations, and data repositories.
• Prepare and present model-centric artifacts for milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, CCBs).
• Conduct architectural trade studies, analyze ICDs/IDDs, and model interfaces to identify gaps and mitigate risks.
• Maintain version control and configuration baseline compliance for SysML models per program standards.
