Jefferson Parish Employees Federal Credit Union is seeking a mid-level Symitar Programmer / Core Systems Technician to support and enhance the Jack Henry Symitar core processing environment and related business applications.

You will focus on PowerOn development, reporting, integrations, system administration, and operational support, collaborating with IT, operations, lending, and accounting teams to improve efficiency, compliance, and member service through reliable technology solutions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on experience with Jack Henry Symitar or Silver Lake.
• Strong PowerOn programming and development experience.
• Working knowledge of Symitar modules (deposits, loans, accounting, member services).
• Experience with RepGen, batch processing, and system jobs.
• Understanding of Credit Union or financial institution operations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain Symitar reports using PowerOn, RepGen, and SQL-based tools.
• Support data extracts, audits, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Maintain and support the Jack Henry Symitar core processing system.
