Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect based in the Sydney area with occasional travel to support customer accounts. You will act as technical authority for our sales team, customers, partners and community, using the Elastic Stack to tackle business issues and drive value in engagements.

A successful SA will be passionate about technology, continuously learning and challenging the status quo, while enabling sales through partners and events.

• Proven record in technical presales selling and implementation.
• Ability to articulate benefits of modern platforms and technologies.

• Strong customer relationship history with solution Architect outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Serving as the technical point of contact for accounts and managers in your territory.
• Developing deep understanding of customers' goals and articulating how Elastic offerings address their needs.
• Creating and owning value-based relationships at all levels in customer organizations.
• Participating in planning and execution from discovery to technical win.
• Maintaining deep understanding of Elastic products to demonstrate value in meetings and events.
• Advising sales on effective positioning of Elastic products and services.
• Onboarding and enabling partners, supporting them in sales cycles.
• Creating collateral, contributing to programs and collaborating with Elasticians.
• Being the voice of the customer to communicate needs to engineering and leadership.
• Deepening sales and technical skills through ongoing education and development.
