ASARCO LLC is seeking a supervisor to oversee an assigned work group in mining operations in the United States. The role focuses on safe, efficient operation, staff supervision, and adherence to production plans and environmental and safety standards.

The position requires supervising staff, training in safety procedures, and coordinating duties across rotating shifts. Strong communication in English and experience in mining or industrial environments are essential.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED with 5 years of related operational experience, or Bachelor's degree with internship.
• Experience supervising or leading crews; ability to resolve day-to-day questions about equipment, materials, methods.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and holidays (24/7/365).
• English fluency at CEFR B2 or higher.
• SXEW (Hydromet) experience preferred (1 year).

Responsabilidades

• Assign, supervise, and review the work of staff.
• Implement production plans according to the approved schedule.
• Train staff in safety procedures.
• Participate in daily operational duties.
• Inspect and evaluate work in progress; guide remedial action.
• Prepare staffing, material, and equipment estimates.
• Purchase needed equipment and materials.
• Conduct performance evaluations.
• Maintain inventory of parts and materials.
• Perform daily reporting.
• Prepare samples and lab management reports for optimization.
• Enforce safe practices and environmental awareness.
• Ensure notifications on faulty equipment.
• Support and enforce the Environmental, Health and Safety program.
• Perform other duties as required.
