Qualifications

• Requires Grade 12 or equivalent.
• College diploma/university degree in mining, robotics or autonomous systems is an asset.
• 3+ years in open pit mining or autonomous operations.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Ability to influence others and manage up.

Responsibilities

• Oversee crew numbers and allocate resources to meet the daily mine plan.
• Coach and provide feedback to achieve KPIs.
• Engage site stakeholders to align goals and expectations.
• Facilitate training and development for crew members.
• Conduct investigations into performance standards when required.
