ASARCO LLC is seeking a Superintendent, Electrical to oversee electrical maintenance and process control at the Ray Mine SXEW Operations. You will supervise electricians and instrumentation teams, plan major shutdowns, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and OEM specifications.

The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of high voltage systems, motor control, and programming tools, with proven leadership in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance experience in a heavy industrial environment.
• Three (3) years of experience as a supervisor/manager is a plus.
• Four (4) years of College, Technical School, or Certified Apprenticeship + six (6) years related work experience or
• Ten (10) years of related work experience
• Knowledge of high voltage power systems is desired.

Responsabilités

• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with OSHA, MSHA, ASME and NEC standards.
• Direct electrical & instrumentation supervisors.
• Plan and manage projects including major shutdowns.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors.
• Communicate with production supervision on electrical maintenance activities.
• Oversee rebuilds and prepare specifications and documentation.
• Review action plans to address recurring failures.
• Train supervisors in safety and environmental policies.
