Job summary

ASARCO LLC in Arizona seeks a Superintendent, Electrical to oversee electrical maintenance, process control, and safety compliance at the Ray Mine SXEW Operations. You will lead electrical and instrumentation supervisors, plan shutdowns, and ensure adherence to OEM specs and environmental policies.

The role requires strong communication, knowledge of high voltage systems, SAP/Kronos familiarity, and experience with PLCs and VFDs, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance experience in a heavy industrial environment.
• Experience supervising teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards (OSHA/MSHA) is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical maintenance and process control activities.
• Plan and manage major shutdown projects.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors.
• Oversee rebuilds: specifications, execution, inspections, and documentation.
• Train supervisors in safety and environmental policies.
