Job summary

Power Design is seeking a Plant Manager to lead LFG's switchboard, panelboard, and integrated products manufacturing operations. You will own plant performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost, translating strategy into daily execution while driving growth and customer commitments.

You will oversee multi-shift operations, champion continuous improvement, manage the budget, and partner with cross-functional teams to optimize capacity, equipment, and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years in manufacturing operations leadership with at least 5 years as Plant Manager/Operations/GM.
• Direct accountability for safety, quality, delivery, cost, labor efficiency, throughput, and people metrics.
• Experience leading multiple plant-wide functions including production, quality, process engineering, planning, maintenance, supply chain, and EHS.
• Proven success scaling operations with headcount growth, shifts, capacity expansion, and new product launches.
• Experience in manufacturing electrical switchboards, switchgear, panelboards, or similar engineered-to-order power distribution equipment.
• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA 70E, UL standards, audits, and third-party inspection programs.
• ERP experience (Oracle Fusion preferred; SAP/Infor also valued).
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green/Black Belt) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily plant operations across all product lines and shifts, including production, quality, process and technology, planning, EHS, maintenance, materials management, shipping and receiving.
• Own plant performance across safety, quality, delivery, labor efficiency, throughput, first-pass yield, and on-time delivery.
• Allocate labor, equipment, and space to meet schedules and commitments while resolving bottlenecks and cross-functional workflows.
• Lead safety and quality programs, ensuring OSHA, NFPA 70E, UL standards, and audit compliance; oversee investigations and corrective actions.
• Partner with Engineering, Procurement, Sales, Project Management, Finance, and the COO on capacity planning, capital investments, R&D, and growth objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement and manage the manufacturing operating budget through standard work, 5S, OEE, waste reduction, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost-control.
• Develop plant personnel while overseeing facility and asset performance, including equipment uptime, maintenance, permits, and audits.
