Winn-Marion in Centennial, CO seeks a Switchgear Technician I to join our engineering/assembly team. You will assemble switchgear cabinets and subassemblies according to wiring diagrams and layouts, using standard and specialized tools.

This role emphasizes precision, safety, and hands-on work. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1–3 years of wiring experience, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED equivalent from an accredited institution is required.
• 1–3 years of experience wiring electricity and electronics is preferred.
• Experience with blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and point-to-point drawings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble switchgear cabinets, subassemblies, panelboards, and systems per drawings and instructions.
• Use standard and specialized tools typical for industrial automation assembly.
• Learn component functionality and proper usage.
• Safely operate tools and machinery in product assembly.
• Capable of using highly automated equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain professional communication with internal and external contacts and vendors.
