Overview
Assemble switchgear cabinets and enclosures according to engineering drawings and work instructions
Perform mechanical assembly including mounting components, panels, frames, and hardware
Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and wiring prints
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Verify assemblies meet quality standards and specifications
Identify and report assembly issues, missing parts, or discrepancies
Follow safety procedures, ESD practices, and production guidelines
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Required Qualifications
Experience as a Mechanical Assembler, Electrical Assembler, or similar role
Experience assembling electrical cabinets, control panels, or switchgear
Ability to read and understand technical drawings, diagrams, and schematics
Familiarity with basic wiring (point‑to‑point wiring, cable routing, labeling)
Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
