Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Technical certification in electrical wiring or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in electrical wiring, switchgear assembly, or related work.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assemble switchgear panels, control cabinets, and other components based on drawings and specifications.
• Wire electrical components, including circuit breakers, relays, transformers, and busbars, per schematics.
• Terminate and connect cables, wires, and other components.
• Perform continuity and functional tests to ensure proper operation.
• Identify and correct wiring or assembly errors and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and PPE guidelines.
• Document wiring changes and communicate progress to supervisors.
