Job summary

Winn-Marion is seeking a Switchgear Technician I in Centennial, CO to join a team building electrical switchgear equipment. You will assemble cabinets, subassemblies, and panelboards per drawings, using a range of hand and power tools in a safety-focused shop.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of wiring/electronics experience, and comfort reading blueprints and schematics. Competitive pay ($22–$24/hour DOE) and strong benefits package available.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required.
• 1-3 years of experience wiring electricity/electronics preferred.
• Experience with blueprints, schematics, diagrams and point-to-point drawings preferred.
• Must be dedicated, hardworking with high attention to detail.
• Teamwork, learning, variety, and hands-on work valued.
• Good eye-hand coordination and color identification of wires.

Responsibilities

• Assemble switchgear cabinets, subassemblies, panelboards per drawings or instructions.
• Using standard and specialized tools for industrial automation assembly.
• Learn functionality of common components and their proper use.
• Operate tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Work with highly automated equipment while maintaining safety procedures.
• Maintain professional communication with colleagues and vendors.
