Job summary

Eaton is hiring a Wiring Technician on 1st shift in Colorado. The role involves wiring the inside of control cabinets for switchgears, following blueprints, schematics and work instructions with hand and power tools.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in electronics assembly; IPC certification is preferred. The job requires lifting up to 35 lbs, standing for long periods and potential overtime on weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or G.E.D. from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in an electronic assembly environment.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Broomfield, CO will be considered.
• Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.

Responsibilities

• Works from drawings, engineering specifications, and manufacturing information to complete assembly and wiring of control equipment.
• Determines necessary parts and material, prepares requisition to obtain parts and material from stock.
• Prepares wire for assembly by cutting, crimping stripping, and attaching terminals.
• Read and interpret point to point assembly prints, mechanical assembly prints and schematics.
