Job summary

City Electric Supply is seeking a Gear Specialist at our Dallas head offices to provide estimates and blueprint takeoffs for bid projects. You will analyze one-line diagrams, research switchgear requirements, and prepare material costs while collaborating across branches and the CES Online division.

Familiarity with power distribution and equipment like transformers and motors is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of electrical switchgear or power systems application experience.
• Prior inside sales experience with a track record of managing customer relationships and closing quotes.

Responsibilities

• Act as Subject Matter Expert with emphasis on Switchgear and Power Distribution.
• Analyze customer one-line diagrams and schematics to determine switchgear needs.
• Prepare cost estimates of material.
• Qualify BoM requests and take offs.
• Read and interpret electrical specifications and drawings.
• Collaborate with branches and customer service representatives.
• Reviews, identifies and follows up on all aspects of the Switchgear projects.
• Works cross functionally within the CES Online division.
