Job summary

City Electric Supply in Indianapolis South (Greenwood area) is seeking a Gear Quotation Specialist to gather information from vendors and branch locations and deliver accurate, competitive project quotes. You will prepare sales quotes, work with suppliers and customers to win project awards, and provide technical pricing support while maintaining strong relationships.

This role requires experience with gear brands such as Eaton, Siemens, GE, strong MS Office skills, and a customer‑service

Qualifications

Experience with Eaton, Siemens, and GE gear is required.
A minimum of three years of experience in gear quotation is required.
Valid driver’s license is preferred.
Technical qualifications and strong industry knowledge are required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is required.

Responsibilities

Assist with collecting information from vendors and agents to create complete and competitive job package quotes.
Prepare and manage Sales quotes for customers and branch locations.
Work directly with suppliers and customers to secure project awards.
Provide value-added service and technical expertise to customers.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
