Job summary

Gosiger seeks an Applications Engineer to provide Swiss CNC Turning (and Drill Tap Mill) expertise to customers, developing programming processes and training for optimal machine use. The role includes on-site support, system run-offs, and responsive troubleshooting to ensure customer success.

The candidate will travel up to 35% for installations and training, interpret blueprints, and collaborate with Sales and Service teams to drive satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Experience with Swiss machine tool programming (and/or Drill Tap Mill), with set-up and process development.
• Strong business writing and documentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 35% for customer installations and training.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design machine processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide Swiss CNC Turning/Drill Tap Mill technical expertise to customers.
• Design and develop machine programming processes to create parts.
• Perform on-site and in-house customer training on machine operations and troubleshooting.
• Offer pre-sale technical sales support and post-sale issue resolution.
• Assist in project management and ensure timely follow-up on tasks.
