Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group in Hartford, CT, is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to lead turnkey projects, demonstrations, and customer-related activities ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery. You will conduct pre-sale reviews, evaluate opportunities, provide machine assessments, recommend parts and turnkey proposals, and develop/customize demonstrations and training for CNC centers.

Qualifications

Experience with Sliding Headstock (Swiss) CNC machine tools.
In-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines.
Familiarity with Fanuc controls; 5-axis experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Running turnkey projects, demonstrations, and customer-related initiatives to ensure on-time, within-budget completion.
Conducting pre-sale activities including customer visits, opportunity evaluation, machine assessment, and turnkey proposal development.
Developing and implementing custom demonstrations and training for CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, Swiss lathes, and multitasking machines.
Training customers in safe setup and operation of CNC machines.
Making accurate cost estimates, writing engineering reports, and interpreting plans and specifications.
Travel to customer sites for on-site training and engineering assistance.
