Job summary

Job Juncture seeks an experienced engineer to lead turnkey projects and customer demonstrations for CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders and Swiss-style machines. You will perform pre-sales reviews, evaluate opportunities, and develop turnkey proposals with precise cost estimates and technical reports.

Travel to customer sites for on-site training and engineering support is required. Ideal candidates bring deep knowledge of Swiss CNC tooling, Fanuc controls, CAD/CAM systems, and 5-axis

Qualifications

• Experience in Sliding Headstock (Swiss) CNC machine tool engineering and manufacturing.
• In-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines.
• Knowledge of Fanuc based controls; 5-axis experience is a plus.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software and conversational programming.

Responsibilities

• Running turnkey projects, demonstrations, and other customer projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
• Conducting pre-sale activities and reviews including customer visits, evaluation of opportunities, machine assessment and recommendations, part processing recommendations and development of turnkey proposal.
• Developing and implementing custom demonstrations and training customers in safe setup and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, Swiss style lathes and/or multi-tasking machines.
• Conducts training of customers in the safe set-up and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, Swiss style lathes and/or multi-tasking machines.
• Making accurate cost estimates, writing engineering reports, and interpreting plans and specifications.
• Travel to customers for on site training and engineering assistance.
