Job summary

Goldfish Swim School - Lake Ridge seeks a General Manager to lead and motivate a high-performing team, coordinate class schedules, and ensure every lesson runs smoothly with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

You will train staff, guide new team members and families through their first days, and drive enrollment while upholding the company’s core values and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of leadership experience and a passion for coaching young adults.
• Sales and/or membership sales and retention skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with conflict resolution abilities.
• Ability to direct and oversee the implementation of the Emergency Action Plan and all safety procedures for the school.
• This position maintains a set schedule Saturday-Wednesday (closed Thursday/Friday).

A General Manager is responsible for ensuring the success of our swim lessons by training, managing and motivating a successful team, coordinating and reviewing class schedules and ensuring you have a school that’s set up for success at every lesson. You’ll guide new team members and families through their first days at Goldfish and be there to support them as they progress in our program and in life.

• Provide training to staff and stay on track with enrollment goals and any subsequent goals intended to measure successGain high level competency in class bookings, scheduling, reporting and administrative functions as well as the Goldfish Swim School curriculum, swim lesson quality standards and safety standards

We provide thorough training and operational support, but here are the skills we’re looking for:

• Problem solving skills, understanding of decision making and what’s best for both the business and the customer
