Job summary

Goldfish Swim School - Peters Township is looking for year-round, part-time swim instructors to teach water safety and proper techniques using our curriculum. After each 30-minute lesson, you will share progress with parents and celebrate accomplishments.

You’ll be part of a team that values safety, skill-building, and a positive learning environment while benefiting from paid training and a set weekly schedule suitable for students or second jobs.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with children.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to complete lifeguard, CPR & AED certification during training.
• Ability to perform duties in a warm, humid pool environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide swim instruction based on Goldfish curriculum.
• Educate students on safety rules to prevent accidents.
• Evaluate progress and complete required paperwork.
• Interact with parents/guardians about child development.
• Use problem-solving to address challenges during lessons.
• Maintain pool equipment and class materials before/after lessons.
• Perform light cleaning tasks as needed.
• Attend occasional workshops and training outside regular hours.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by employer.
