Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking an Aquatics Swim Instructor to teach swimming to both adults and children, evaluate ability, and assign proper swim levels while maintaining a clean, safe pool area.

You will answer guest questions, promote Aquatics programs and help ensure a positive member experience in a fast-paced club environment. Prior lifeguard/CPR certs preferred and basic gym/club knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Working toward a High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping.
• Successfully complete Life Time courses upon hire.
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs and move about the club.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certification (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires). For Canada, Lifesaving Society Lifeguard certification and Standard FA with CPR C.

Responsibilities

• Instructs swimming lessons and Aquatics events
• Responds to member questions, comments, and concerns
• Provides a safe, clean and organized pool area
• Promotes and sells all Aquatics programs and services
