Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking an Aquatics Swim Instructor to teach swim lessons for adults and children, assess swim levels, and support a clean, safe Aquatics facility. You will contribute to a welcoming environment and help members develop essential life skills in the water.

The role emphasizes patient instruction, safety compliance, and promoting Aquatics programs. Experience with Lifeguard certifications is valued and the position requires active engagement with members throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Working toward a High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to bend to lift 20 lbs or less (and occasionally more).
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid certifications or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Instructs swimming lessons and Aquatics events.
• Responds to member questions, comments, and concerns.
• Provides a safe, clean and organized pool area.
• Promotes and sells all Aquatics programs and services.
