Job summary

Life Time is seeking an Aquatics Swim Instructor to help adults and children improve their swimming and learn essential life skills. You will evaluate swimming ability to place swimmers at the correct level while ensuring a clean and safe pool environment for members of all ages.

You will support Aquatics events, respond to guest questions, and promote our programs and services. A Lifeguard/CPR certification is preferred, with opportunities for certification maintenance.

Qualifications

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping.
• Able to bend to lift 20 lbs or more.
• Lifeguard/CPR First Aid certification (or bridge to StarGuard).

Responsibilities

• Instructs swimming lessons and Aquatics events
• Responds to member questions, comments, and concerns
• Provides a safe, clean and organized pool area
• Promotes and sells all Aquatics programs and services
