Qualifications

• Minimum age 16
• Verification of SI readiness within 90 days
• Complete YSL V6 modules within 90 days
• YMCA Swim Instructor Skills Verification within 90 days
• Ability to swim in shallow and deep water and tread water

Responsibilities

• Shadow and assist certified swim instructors and learn programming and emergency procedures.
• Know, understand, and communicate policies and procedures for the pool, body of water and whirlpool.
