Goldfish Swim School - Brookline is seeking a dedicated Swim Instructor to teach water safety and swimming techniques using our proven curriculum. You’ll work with children across ages, deliver engaging lessons, enforce safety rules, and serve as a friendly ambassador for the school.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two or more years of swimming instruction experience required.
• Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred. Shallow water attendant recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provides swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
• Enforces safety rules and performs rescues and first aid when necessary.
• Evaluates students’ progress and completes required paperwork.
• Interacts with parents/guardians regarding students’ swim development.
• Acts as a GSS ambassador to ensure parental satisfaction.
• Uses problem-solving to address challenges students face.
• Inspects pool areas before/after classes and reports issues.
• Maintains and stores pool equipment properly and manages lane lines.
• Reports accidents to management and completes documentation.
• Performs Deck Teacher duties as needed.
• Performs light cleaning duties and attends mandatory trainings.
• Fulfills other duties assigned by the Employer.
