Goldfish Swim School - St. Charles is seeking a Swim Instructor to teach water safety and swim techniques per the school’s curriculum. You will work under the Deck Supervisor, ensuring a positive learning environment and adherence to safety rules.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of swimming instruction experience, are certified lifeguards, and hold CPR/AED and First Aid certifications. Flexible shifts and opportunities for advancement are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Two or more years as a swimming instructor required.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Instructs students using the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
• Enforces safety rules and conducts rescues and first aid when needed.
• Evaluates progress and completes required paperwork promptly.
• Interacts with parents/guardians about students' progress.
• Maintains pool areas and equipment before/after classes.
