Job summary

Goldfish Swim School is seeking a Swim Instructor to lead youth swim lessons and promote water safety in a fun, engaging environment. Instructors follow the company curriculum and act as ambassadors to ensure parental satisfaction.

The role involves hands-on coaching, safety enforcement, and collaboration with the Deck Supervisor. The position offers flexible hours, opportunities for advancement, and a role that combines teaching with youth development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two+ years as a swimming instructor preferred.
• Must pass background examinations (included with training).
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with children.

Responsibilities

• Provide swim instruction following Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
• Enforce safety rules and respond with rescues and first aid when needed.
• Evaluate student progress and complete required paperwork promptly.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about child development and progress.
• Maintain pool area and equipment in safe, sanitary condition.
• Attend mandatory workshops and training outside regular hours.
