Residential Living and Student Conduct -- Front Office Assistant
Residential Living and Student Conduct is seeking Front Office Assistants. The Front Office Assistant serves as a receptionist to students, parents, faculty, staff, and community members while also performing general office duties to serve the needs of the Residential Living and Student Conduct Office. You are the face of the department, and a high degree of professionalism is a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide excellent customer assistance by triaging incoming traffic, answering phone calls, and in person inquiries
Route calls to the appropriate departments, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
Provide accurate information in person and via phone/email
Sort and deliver mail
Make photocopies
Submit work orders
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Prefer student who has lived in Bradley Residence Halls for at least 1 year
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
Operate technology systems, and software such as excel, voicemail systems, copy/scanners, personal computers
Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills
Competent in organizational and time management skills
Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is helpful
