Job summary

Enterprise Bank & Trust is seeking a Senior Vice President, SBA Business Development Officer in New York to drive new SBA loan activity within assigned markets. You will identify opportunities, collaborate with product partners, and close SBA 7(a) and 504 loans while maintaining compliance with bank policies and PLP expectations.

The role requires 5–10 years in SBA lending, solid underwriting knowledge, and strong communication and relationship-building skills to expand the bank's market

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of related experience in a lending environment or financial institution.
• Understanding of underwriting guidelines, procedures and compliance.
• Ability to protect and maintain confidential information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new SBA loan opportunities and meet department goals.
• Prospect, market, structure and originate SBA 7(a) and 504 loans.
• Maintain a referral network to bring potential borrowers to the bank.
• Prepare complete financial packages and assist credit analysis.
• Negotiate loan terms balancing risk and shareholder value.
