Job summary

SOLV Energy in Mesa, AZ is seeking a SVP, Finance to lead the financial planning, oversight and reporting for the Energy Infrastructure segment, unifying five BUs into a single P&L while preserving BU accountability.

You will partner with BU leaders, shape long-range plans, oversee cost coding, earned value, and change management, and build a finance team as the segment scales. This role requires deep construction-sector finance expertise and a hands-on leadership approach.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of progressive finance leadership in construction/EPC/industrial services.
• 5+ years in a senior finance leadership role with P&L across multiple BUs.
• Bachelor's degree; CPA/CMA/MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual budget and monthly/quarterly forecast cycle for the Energy Infrastructure segment in Planful, consolidating five BUs into a single segment P&L.
• Set and defend top-line, OpEx, and SG&A targets for each BU with corporate FP&A.
• Build the segment's long-range plan including capex and working capital implications.
• Lead the financial evaluation of new business unit additions and integration planning when SOLV acquires new capabilities.
• Serve as the finance partner for each BU leader and translate pipelines into revenue/margin forecasts.
• Design cost coding structures suited to high-voltage/self-perform work and create a closed loop between as-built costs and estimating data.
• Own earned value reporting and ensure change order/claims discipline across the segment.
• Deliver monthly leading-indicator reporting and ensure compliance with corporate policies and external audits.
• Sponsor financial systems like Planful and ensure data talking across platforms.
