Job summary

Moody's Corporation in New York is seeking a Senior Vice President, Communications to lead Moody's Analytics' communications strategy, promoting products and thought leadership externally while aligning executive and employee messaging. The role offers high visibility, with direct access to MA leadership and a mandate to shape how MA is perceived inside and outside the organization.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive communications experience, including leadership of a team.
• Experience building external narrative and internal/executive comms at scale.
• Excellent judgment and executive presence; comfortable advising senior leaders.
• Strong writer and editor; translate complex subject matter into clear messaging.
• Experience in a matrixed global organization; ability to influence without authority.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the communications strategy for Moody's Analytics, aligning product marketing, thought leadership and executive visibility.
• Lead external communications for MA's product suite with media, analyst and industry visibility.
• Direct MA's internal and executive communications to the broader organization.
• Coordinate with MCO Reputation to ensure consistency with enterprise positioning.
• Build, manage and develop a team spanning internal, executive and external communications.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to MA's senior leaders on messaging and reputational risk.
• Partner with the Global Head of Communications on enterprise-wide initiatives.
