Job summary

VTC Bus Corp. is seeking a dedicated SUV Driver to join our student transportation team, operating a company-provided SUV with a regular (non-CDL) license to transport students to and from school and activities while actively enrolled in a training program toward endorsements.

Join our team to help safely transport children, build connections, and contribute to the community. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain a clean vehicle, and progress toward licensure through ongoing

Qualifications

• Valid regular (Class D) driver's license.
• Clean driving record and strong attendance.
• Commitment to completing training and obtaining Passenger (P) endorsement.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and DOT physical.
• Professional, reliable, and student-focused.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students following assigned routes and schedules.
• Ensure student safety during pick-up, transit, and drop-off.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly vehicle interior.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, school staff, and supervisors.

We are looking for a dedicated and safety-conscious SUV Driver to join our student transportation team. In this transitional role, the driver will operate a company-provided SUV using a regular (non-CDL) driver's license to safely transport students to and from school and related activities. While in this role, the driver will be actively enrolled in a training program with the goal of obtaining the required endorsements.

Pay Rate: $17.00/hr - Preservice Training (1 week)

Pay Rate: $21.50/hr - Once endorsements are achieved
