Job summary

TravelKuz is seeking a part-time School Van Driver to safely transport students to and from school and events in Shelburne Falls, MA. Responsibilities include driving routes, pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and maintaining a clean vehicle.

Ideal candidates will hold a 7D certificate (or be willing to obtain one), have a safe driving record, be 21+ with 3 years of driving experience, and communicate effectively in English. Training is provided, with opportunities for overtime and benefits.

Qualifications

  • School Pupil Transport (7D) Certificate (or willingness to obtain — we train!)
  • Safe driving record
  • Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
  • Ability to pass background check , drug screening, & 7D physical
  • Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport students to and from school and events
  • May include assisting students enter/exit vehicle and using specialized safety equipment (belts, car seats, booster seats, etc)
  • Drive assigned routes
  • Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
  • Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
  • Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
  • Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies

A Driver is responsible for transporting clients from their pickup point to their destination in a timely and safe manner. Using a vehicle to successfully transport people, performing pre-trip inspections, performing child checks post-route, and keeping their vehicle within DOT regulations are the most important tasks of the driver.

Pay & Schedule
  • Pay: $24.40/hour (effective 8/24/2026)
  • Paid Training: $20/hour
  • Schedule: Part‑time, split shift (AM/PM)
  • Weekdays only — no nights, weekends, or holidays
  • Weekly pay + guaranteed minimum hours
