Job summary

Leidos's Digital Sector is seeking a Systems Engineer-Sustainment Engineer and Digital Thread to support Coast Guard enterprise digital transformation, sustainment engineering, and digital-thread initiatives across lifecycle from requirements to disposal.

The Senior Systems Engineer will provide technical leadership in sustainment engineering, PLM, and digital thread management across enterprise transformation activities, modernization efforts, and mission enablement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 8–10 years’ related experience, or 6–10 with a Master’s.
• Experience sustaining complex systems and providing lifecycle support planning.
• Hands-on PLM software experience and data management.
• Experience with digital thread establishment across lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide sustainment-focused systems engineering support for digital transformation and lifecycle modernization.
• Establish and govern digital thread linkages across requirements, models, and data.
• Administer PLM software such as Windchill and Teamcenter, including workflows and BOM management.
• Support configuration management and technical data management, including TDP development.
• Develop system engineering artifacts: CONOPS, requirements, interfaces, sustainment plans.
• Translate operational needs into traceable model artifacts to support digital engineering.
