Job summary

Leidos's Digital Sector seeks a Systems Engineer-Sustainment to drive Coast Guard digital transformation and lifecycle modernization. You will lead sustainment engineering, manage the digital thread, and govern PLM implementations across enterprise initiatives, aligning readiness with enterprise engineering objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 8–10 years of related experience, or 6–10 years with a Master's.
• Experience in sustainment engineering or product support for complex systems.
• Hands-on experience with PLM software such as Windchill or Teamcenter, including BOM management and change workflows.
• Experience with digital thread management across the system lifecycle.
• Experience supporting complex federal IT, systems engineering, or modernization programs.
• Familiarity with systems engineering lifecycle processes and requirements management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust and Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide sustainment-focused systems engineering support for Coast Guard digital transformation and lifecycle modernization initiatives.
• Establish, manage, and govern digital thread linkages across requirements, models, and data.
• Administer PLM software including workflows and data management.
• Support configuration management and technical data management activities.
• Develop technical recommendations to support modernization and lifecycle objectives.
• Create CONOPS, requirements documents, interfaces, sustainment plans, and assessments.
