Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Sustainment Engineer to advance sustainment engineering processes across programs. The role requires developing strategies from early lifecycle stages through fielding, ensuring end-to-end logistics integration and data-driven decision making.

You will collaborate across engineering, product support, provisioning, and operations to improve maintenance concepts, readiness, and lifecycle costs, while contributing to program documentation and technical reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 4+ years' relevant experience.
• Master’s degree in engineering with 2+ years’ relevant experience.
• Experience in sustainment, logistics, or systems engineering.
• Ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and improve sustainment engineering processes, methods, templates, tools, and standards.
• Support development of sustainment strategies early in the lifecycle and through fielding and sustainment.
• Integrate reliability, maintainability, availability, supportability, maintenance, and logistics into program decisions.
• Perform sustainment analyses for maintenance concepts, sparing, readiness, and lifecycle cost.
