Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Sustaining Engineering Leader to own the performance of Spark hardware modules after deployment and drive continuous improvement. You will coordinate with Data Center Facility Operations and Field Operations to turn field data into actionable design changes for future module generations.

Expected to guide fleet reliability, ECO processes, and obsolescence management, influencing product roadmaps and cost of ownership across the Spark platform.

Qualifications

• 10 to 15 years in sustaining, reliability, or product support engineering for deployed capital hardware or infrastructure assets.
• Track record of converting field performance data into design changes that reduce failure rates and service costs.
• Experience building sustaining engineering processes from the ground up and managing obsolescence.

Responsibilities

• Fleet ownership: establish baselines, spares strategies, service intervals, and repair-vs-replace policies.
• Post-release change control: own ECOs, baselines, and obsolescence management with field retrofits.
• Feedback loop to PM & NPI: translate field data into design requirements for PRDs and quantify TCO.
