Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Senior Staff Applications Engineer to own how Spark evaluates technical fit for modular data center deployments. You will build the evaluation framework and support EDG, business development, and partner teams in applying it.

You will serve as the Spark team's technical contact for non-standard opportunities, delivering go/no-go decisions with clear engineering rationale and driving rapid feasibility assessments across multiple engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience spanning data center infrastructure, power generation or utility interconnection, industrial capital projects, or modular and containerized systems.
• First-principles decision making in feasibility and design trades.
• Ability to articulate engineering tradeoffs to commercial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a standardized qualification framework for Spark deployments.
• Enable EDG, business development, and partners to apply the framework.
• Provide escalated technical judgments for undefined or contested opportunities.
• Deliver clear go/no-go decisions with engineering rationale.
