Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Sustaining Engineering Leader to own post-deployment performance of Spark-based systems. You will manage fleet reliability, configurations, obsolescence, and retrofit decisions, while partnering with Product Management and NPI to drive design improvements.

The role requires leading a team, standing up sustaining processes, and delivering data-driven insights to minimize downtime and cost over the fleet’s life cycle.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years in sustaining, reliability, or product support engineering.
• Direct ownership of a fielded installed base with data-driven design changes.
• Obsolescence and lifecycle management on long-life infrastructure products.
• Experience standing up a function with processes and partner agreements.

Responsibilities

• Own fleet reliability metrics including MTBF and failure rates.
• Manage FRACAS, Failure Review Board, and corrective actions to verified closure.
• Define configurations, spare policy, and maintenance intervals for first-gen products.
• Collaborate with Product Management and NPI to translate fleet data into design requirements.
