Job summary

Walt Disney World is looking for a Mgr-Sustaining Support to lead engineers and architects delivering rapid technical support for resorts, parks, ships, and facilities. You will ensure urgent issues are resolved quickly and guest experiences are safeguarded while aligning sustaining efforts with Disney's priorities.

You will set strategy, mentor staff, prioritize resources, and collaborate with Engineering Services to deliver reliable, safe, high-quality solutions enterprise-wide.

Qualifications

• Licensed Architect or PE in Florida or reciprocity state.
• 10+ years in a multi-discipline architecture/engineering environment.
• Sustaining engineering for complex facilities and systems.
• Ability to partner with multiple lines of business and manage expectations.
• Knowledge of safety procedures in facilities/construction environments.
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with Revit and Forma.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of engineers and architects for critical sustainment challenges.
• Guide root cause analysis, problem solving and reliability improvements for facility systems.
• Balance people leadership with direct contribution and prioritize resources.
• Drive accountability with documentation and measurable value to stakeholders.
• Shape sustaining strategies and operating standards aligned with Guest experience goals.
• Develop on-call sustaining systems and mentor future leaders.
• Collaborate across Operations, Engineering Services, and other stakeholders.
• Foster collaboration, innovation, and service excellence.
