Job summary

PAE is seeking a Plumbing Design Engineering Intern to join our team in Seattle, WA or other major offices. The 10–12 week paid internship provides hands-on experience in sustainable engineering design across mechanical, plumbing, electrical and lighting disciplines.

You’ll design plumbing layouts, participate in non-potable reuse work, water data analysis, electrification of domestic hot water, CAD/Revit work and energy modeling, with site visits and project coordination throughout the term.

Qualifications

• 3rd year undergrad in civil, environmental or mechanical engineering.
• Interest in building design and sustainable solutions.
• Effective communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design plumbing layouts for projects.
• Assist with onsite non-potable reuse and nutrient recovery systems.
• Support water data analysis and electrification of hot water systems.
• Create CAD/Revit drawings and energy models.
• Participate in project coordination and site visits.
