Job summary

Trane in Maitland, FL is hiring a HVAC Project Manager! The HVAC Project Manager is responsible for project financials, administration, implementation, management, and customer satisfaction for all assigned projects.

They lead the project team through all facets of the project and is the established point of contact for stakeholders. The HVAC Project Manager manages a portfolio of projects that could contain both smaller and larger multi‑building or complex construction projects, and supports

Qualifications

• Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Construction PM degree preferred.
• 3-5 years’ experience with Project Schedules / PM Construction software.
• Strong financial project management ability and risk management.
• Experience resolving collections and customer financial issues during project execution.
• Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and developing communication plans with stakeholders.
• Leads all aspects of project administration including contract penalties, liquidated damages, reporting, compliance, documentation, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Financially manages all aspects of projects including cash flow, forecasts, expenses, and backlog reviews with leaders.
• Validate project scope, cost, schedule by reviewing contract documents, internal meetings and setting customer expectations, and identify risks with mitigation plans.
• Utilize qualified subcontractors, oversee RFQ process, award subcontracts, manage subcontractor execution, and establish communication guidelines for progress and billing.
• Create and maintain project schedules utilizing tasks, dependencies, milestones.
