Job summary

PAE is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to support building-design teams across multiple major office locations. Work includes electrical load calculations, PV system design, NEC review, and coordination with M/E teams.

The program runs 10 to 12 weeks, is paid, and targets a 3rd year engineering student passionate about sustainable design. On-site positions are based in one of our local offices in cities including New York, NY.

Qualifications

• 3rd year undergraduate student preferred.
• Desire to work in the Building Design industry.
• Passionate about sustainable design solutions.
• Effective communicator.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Load Calculations/Block Loads.
• Schematic Design Narratives.
• NEC Review.
• Renewable Energies.
• PV System layout/design/calculations.
• CAD and Revit.
• Site Visits/Site Observation Reports.
• Cost estimate review/preparation.
• M/E coordination schedule.
