Job summary

PAE is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team in New York or other major offices. The 10 to 12 week paid internship offers hands-on exposure to sustainable building design and the opportunity to learn the PAE and LUMA approach while contributing to projects from retrofits to Living Buildings.

You will perform load calculations, CAD/Revit tasks, PV and renewable energy explorations, and support site visits as part of a collaborative engineering team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in Electrical Engineering required or preferred.
• Interest in sustainable building design and energy efficiency.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform Electrical Load Calculations/Block Loads.
• Assist with Schematic Design Narratives and NEC review.
• Research PV, Wind, and Fuel Cell technologies.
• Layout/design calculations of PV systems.
• Support site visits and observe project sites.
• Prepare cost estimates and assist M/E coordination.
