Job summary

PAE is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team across major offices including Seattle, WA. The internship offers hands-on work in electrical design for sustainable buildings, with exposure to PV, wind, and energy systems, and collaboration across engineering disciplines.

You will participate in load calculations, schematic design narratives, NEC reviews, and CAD/Revit drafting while learning the PAE and LUMA approach in a 10–12 week paid program at an on-site office.

Qualifications

• 3rd year undergraduate student preferred.
• Interest in sustainable building design and systems.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform Electrical Load Calculations and block loads.
• Create schematic design narratives and NEC reviews.
• Assist with PV, wind, and fuel cell tech research and layout work.
• Support CAD/Revit drawing production and site visits.
